Helsinki’s street level shops have a lot to offer!
Being born and raised in Helsinki, I particularly enjoy places that haven’t changed since my childhood. That being said, it is also great to discover new arrivals in the city! Museums and galleries often adapt their spaces in very interesting ways. Their spaces can be totally transformed for new exhibitions. I’m always trying to see familiar surroundings from new perspectives. New perspectives are also what Helsinki Design Week is looking to offer. This year Design Week (8.–17.9.2023) is taking over the Merikortteli block in Punavuori as well as additional satelite locations around the city. Welcome all!
