Design District Helsinki has appointed Mia Saporito as the organisation’s new Executive Director. Former director Anniina Dunder-Berg will focus on her creative work; graphic design, illustrations and visual art.
“I’m very excited about this new chapter in my professional life. I strongly believe in the mission of Design District Helsinki and its role as the promoter of local entrepreneurs. I’m looking forward to working with them all. My goal is to further strengthen DDH’s role as one of the key players in Helsinki’s design scene and to help design loving visitors discover the gems that our city has to offer”, Mia says.
Mia has a very international profile and a strong background in PR and marketing. She is a part time designer herself and holds a master’s degree in business from France.
