Design District Market on Sunday November 20th 10am-6pm at Vanha ylioppilastalo (just opposite to Stockmann) opens Helsinki’s design cluster’s Christmas season.
The event brings together Helsinki’s brick and mortar shops’ versatile design selection from interior products to fashion, art and even local treats. This is a chance for some local Christmas shopping, even for friends and family members with a demanding taste.
Also a free-of-charge art workshop for children builds up the Christmas spirit. The workshop is led by contemporary artis Yvapurü Samaniego Bonnin, who guides the crafting of cheerful 3D paper trolls from 1pm to 4pm.
