Participatory Urban Art Project by Design District Helsinki
Design District Helsinki invited Helsinki Design Week festival guests and passers-by to take part in an urban art project in the autumn 2021. Every participant was asked to draw an arrow depicting the direction they were heading to. The art piece was created on an electrical utility box owned by Sähköyhtiö Helen.
The project was a participatory small scale street art project by Anniina Dunder-Berg and it reflects people getting from one place to another whether physically or in their minds. The art piece is trying to catch some of the constant movement happening on the streets.
