Cable Factory

Cable Factory, situated in Helsinki’s Ruoholahti district, is the largest cultural centre in Finland, and we’re looking forward to seeing you!

Once an industrial complex producing rubber and marine cables, the centre now offers a lot to see, do and experience for all people interested in culture, art and design. Festivals, seminars, fairs, exhibitions and celebrations are held all year round.

Cable Factory houses e.g. 3 museums (The Finnish Museum of Photography, Theatre Museum and Hotel and Restaurant Museum), 2 restaurants / cafés, artists, art schools, galleries, sport clubs, advertising, consultancy and architect’s offices, artisans, bands and other companies active in the creative industry.

Dance House Helsinki opened its doors in February 2022 next to Cable Factory.
