Pekka Hepoluhta: On Seeing, tm•gallery 4.—29.3.2026
–´´All kinds of stuff keeps collecting to my studio. Not that they, as such, are interesting, or beautiful, but because they all tell a story about light.
They should all express light in a coherent way, so that we don`t get confused. Light separates things. However the way ambient light brings everything together and, binds it to the present moment, is far more interesting.
I place artefacts in front of me, and wait for the light to suggest a painting. Sometimes I have a feeling it is me who is being watched.´´
