Mirka Raito (b. 1975) is a Finnish visual artist based in Hamburg, Germany. She grew up in Helsinki and studied painting at Academy of Fine Arts. The Art of Mirka Raito encompasses multible mediums like painting, drawing, installation, performance and collage. Essential for Mirka Raito’s artistic work are biographical and psychological themes, as well as intuitive and experimental process. The artist thanks warmly the Kone Foundation for supporting the exhibition and her artistic work.
