Tpl’a ”Cats” 5/5
Art graphics from printmaker Eeva Huotari
Buy sausages and enjoy art at the same time. Makkara Gallery presents cat art graphics from printmaker Eeva Huotari.
“The oldest art I bring to the exhibit is from the last century. I get inspiration for my art by observing my environment with a twinkle in my eye. Cats play a great role in my work. In addition to cats, I often make different collections. An old saying has given the name to a work that deals with the passage of time: “Money can buy a clock, but not time.” I hope my work will inspire people and make them feel better. And who can resist cats? ”
The title of the exhibition, Tpl’a ”Cats” 5/5, comes from the way in which printed artwork is labeled. “Tpl’a” refers that the print is made by the artist herself, which is in French: tire’e par l’artiste.
Then the name of the work is placed inside the apostrophes, and the work is numbered so that the number of the print is first followed by the total number of prints in the edition.
