Bessie Baudin: Chamanes & Nébuleuse

Bessie Baudin presents in Helsinki two series of black and white silver photos that she created and developed. “Chamanes” is a fanciful and mystical vision of a shamanic ritual following the Siberian traditions. “Nébuleuse” is a trip in the attic of a factory closed for more than 40 years, the pearl lost in an Alsatian village was love at first sight.
Bessie Baudin is a multidisciplinary artist.
She is a teacher in audio-visual cinema school, event photographer and videographer. She made her first steps in the field of image as a light engineer on shooting of clips, shorts films and features films.
In 2017, she created an association, “Le collectif du Hérisson”, which aims to promote photography. In july 2019 she organized an exhibition of 25 emerging and professional photographers during “Les rencontres d’Arles”.
