Design District Market: Satellite Events in Shops and Online

The 20-year-old Design District Helsinki celebrates Christmas with the Design District Market at the Architecture and Design Museum on Sunday, 14 December 2025. Our members will also take part in the festivities as satellite participants, both from their brick-and-mortar shops and online, through the following events and campaigns:

Finlandia Hall

Finlandia Hall and Designkaverit will host the Design Christmas event at the Veranda of Finlandia Hall on 13–14 December. The event, held last year at Little Finlandia, now expands to the main building and brings together the loveliest gift ideas from Finnish designers for the whole family.

More than 50 Finnish designers will participate, offering products ranging from ceramics and art to home goods, clothing, accessories, and jewellery. In addition to the designers’ own sales points, visitors can discover delightful finds at the Christmas Kiosk curated by Designkaverit. The event also features puppet theatre performances for children and a roaming choir bringing festive cheer with Christmas songs. An apple-scented mulled-wine station will be serving visitors, and the atmospheric Finlandia Cafe&Wine offers seasonal delicacies.

Design Christmas takes place at Finlandia Hall on Saturday, 13 December from 12:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday, 14 December from 11:00 to 17:00. Admission is free.

Finlandia Bistro and the Finlandia exhibition will also be exceptionally open on Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00. Tickets to the exhibition can be purchased via Tiketti or at the service desk in the Finlandia Hall lobby. Mannerheimintie 13.

Lapuan Kankurit

Lapuan Kankurit offers wool blankets at 20% off from 8–14 December 2025 both online and in the Helsinki store. The Helsinki shop is open on 14 December from 12:00 to 16:00. Katariinankatu 2.

MINNA MINNA

During the Market Weekend (12–14 December), MINNA MINNA offers the DROP ballerina at a special price of €199.00 (normally €299.00).
