Helsinki Interiors helps make spaces more interesting, more functional in terms of user experience, and at the same time brings Finnish design and aesthetics forward.

We work at the intersection of interior architecture and communication. Clients can commission a design plan, a spatial concept, a keynote talk, an expert article or a workshop. The client receives a clear perspective on what a space could look like, how it affects people, and how it should be communicated.

We help companies, cities, property owners, landlords and cultural organisations when they want to develop a space, present a project, clarify the story of a place or find new perspectives on the spaces of the future.

The outcome can be a design plan, a concept draft, a talk for an event, an article, workshop content, the story of a space or presentation material for the client’s own use.

We look at spaces from Helsinki. We are interested in how Finnish design, architectural heritage, art and culture can be present in spaces in a way that feels contemporary, human and interesting also internationally.

The founder of Helsinki Interiors, Anna Tiula, is an interior architect, architectural historian, communications specialist, writer and speaker. She is also a board member of Design District Helsinki and the curator of the Design District Talks discussion series. Anna is also a researcher in biophilic design and the developer of the Nordic Biodesign concept.
