In addition to paintings the exhibition includes sculptor Marja Uusiluoto-Raaska’s eloquent rockworks, which show a bubbling sense of humor.
From Western Finland’s lace capitol Rauma comes artist Mika Honkanen, whose precise brush strokes evoke lots of different goings on, moods and moments.
Sinikka Hurskainen from Imatra in Eastern Finland puts a twinkle in the eye with her busy, colourful and funny paintings.
Multi-talented artist Eila-Elina Bergholm from Helsinki depicts nature and landscapes with her own personal and harmonious style.
Artist Tiina Pesonen from the neighbouring Espoo surprises in each and everyone of her exhibitions by bringing new styles and interesting strokes on the canvas.
Alisa Ranta-aho, who nowadays works in Helsinki, is a versatile artist whose paintings are full of pure action packed movement, bubbly zest for life, philosophy and zeal of making art.
Helsinki is also the base for graphic designer Miretta Männistö who is also an avid artist. In her works delicate, liberal movement and soft shades lead the viewer towards light.
In Helsinki, Lauttasaari, artist Tapani Piirto paints gently colourful and harmonically hazy people and ripples of light and shadow.
Sofia Saikåin’s art has lead her from Nurmo in Ostrobothnia to study art in Saint Petersburg. The Art Salon Piirto exhibition is her debyt where she brings a fresh breeze of versatile Russian art teachings.
